A Thin Blue Line

At the time I painted this I was concentrating on
several monochromatic pictures. I did acid green apples
on a dark green cloth, plums on a lavender ground,
and this picture of lemons on a pastel ochre background.
I think the whiteness and blue rim of the plate are
necessary to relieve so much yellow. |
